New office buildings &
branches throughout the
Caribbean & new branches
throughout B.C., Canada

The Scotia Bank is a Canadian chartered bank with over 1100 branch and office building
locations across Canada. It is also the largest Canadian Bank in the Caribbean with over
100 branches and office buildings.
The Scotia bank conducts its corporate real estate operations from a central Toronto
office location and Matrix Management Corp. was retained to provide project management
oversight for the development of new buildings throughout both the British Columbia region
and the Caribbean.
The Goal:
Development of new office buildings and branches in the Caribbean and new branches in
British Columbia.
Matrix Management Corp. was provided with a great opportunity to
demonstrate our ability to provide effective program management involving the
project management of a number of projects within a portfolio, as well as the oversight
of the programs.
The Results:
New facilities meeting all corporate objectives, under budget and on schedule. Cost
efficiencies through effective program management.
Working closely with many stakeholders, Matrix Management Corp. ensured that the
Bank’s objectives were met on all projects undertaken. Full scope project management was
applied in close contact with authorities to obtain all planning and building approvals and
with local personnel to ensure that the objectives were met in a timely manner, which
required regular travel to the locations.
Matrix Management Corp’s adaptability to differing building codes and planning
requirements of other countries were key to the success of the delivery of the projects in
the Caribbean. |
